Magnum of wine Gevrey Chambertin 1er cru Poissenot, Domaine Humbert Frères

The Humbert estate is located in the beautiful village of Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits, it is a family-run estate led by two brothers, Frédéric and Emmanuel since 1989. They cultivate seven hectares in village appellations, premier crus, and a grand cru (Charmes-Chambertin). They produce pure, powerful, opulent wines resulting from a long extraction process, requiring patience and a few years of aging to fully reveal themselves.

This Magnum of Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru Poissenot from Domaine Humbert Frères comes from a superb plot located in the Combe de Lavaux, facing South on a slope of gravel. A mineral and refined wine, with aromas of black fruits, cherries, and subtle oak notes. Plenty of volume and balance on the palate with a mineral finish. A great wine.
