The Château was built under Napoleon III, but its prestige was mainly born in the years following the purchase of the castle by Gabriel Farnet. He embarked on an extensive replanting program, favoring grape varieties most suited to Provence and the desired wine styles (hello then grenache, cinsault, syrah, and rolle). The first recognition came in 1955, the year Minuty was recognized among the 55 classified growths of Côtes de Provence. Since then, Mr. Farnet's descendants have continued to establish the prestigious and high-end identity of Minuty rosés, which are found on the most beautiful gourmet tables in France and around the world. Beyond this family work, the vineyard is perfectly exposed on the hillsides of Ramatuelle and Gassin, overlooking the Saint-Tropez golf course. Southern grape varieties are of course in the spotlight, especially the grenache "the king grape of Rosé". The vineyard is cultivated using sustainable agriculture with soil work, without pesticides or herbicides. Harvesting is exclusively done by hand. A respectful vineyard work that complements a high-precision cellar work.
