This magnum of Cote de Beaune white "La Combe d'Eve" 2021 by Emmanuel Giboulot comes from a magnificent plot located on a hillside, on the Beaune mountain, above the 1er crus. The Côte de Beaune appellation is little known because it is very small (52 hectares in total), but the quality of this ancient vineyard is remarkable. As evidence of this, the "Combe d'Eve" climate, Emmanuel Giboulot's emblematic wine, where he cultivates 40-year-old vines using organic farming practices. A beautiful place, located above the famous Beaune 1er cru Bressandes, Combe d'Eve produces a very fine white wine every year. Fermented and aged in oak barrels for 18 months, we are impressed by the intensity and aromatic harmony of this wine which extends on the palate with persistent notes of hazelnuts, hawthorn, white flowers, citrus, and bergamot. A unique wine!
