Behind this atypical name lies one of the best premier crus of Saint-Aubin, a village in the Côte de Beaune that has been highly sought after for the past fifteen years by connoisseurs of great Burgundian Chardonnays. The "murgers" are the huge piles of stones, shaped like "dog's teeth", on this plot and stacked by the winemakers to be able to work the vine on these very mineral soils.
