The freshness of a rosé, the structure of a Bollinger
Bollinger Rosé Champagne Magnum
The Bollinger house is one of the legendary names of Champagne, and for good reason. It was founded in 1829 through the meeting of Athanase de Villermont, a landowner in Champagne, and a German wine merchant, Joseph Bollinger. In 1920, the house gained all its nobility and brand image thanks to Jacques Bollinger, who notably created the famous Bollinger RD cuvée. Located in Ay, the Bollinger house is one of the few that remains independent and family-owned. All the cuvées are of great quality, revealing a lot of personality with each vintage.
This Bollinger Rosé Champagne Magnum is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, and 15% Meunier. More than 85% comes from grand cru and premier cru vineyards. A subtle combination of structure, length, and liveliness where the tannic aspect recalls the addition of red wine; a fine, velvety bubble; wild red fruit aromas. The elegance of small red fruits: hints of currant, cherry, and wild strawberry; a spicy touch that links Bollinger Rosé to the style of Special Cuvée. Enjoy it now!
