Magnum of L'O d'Icy, Cuvée Josefine (wine eau de vie) from Clos Saint Joseph

A family-owned artisanal distillery located in Meursault, in the heart of the Burgundy wine region. Clos Saint Joseph offers exceptional products made from high-quality raw materials and distilled in a precise and pure German copper still. The production is deliberately limited, with no additives, to ensure a very high quality.

This Magnum of L'O d'Icy from Clos Saint Joseph is a meticulous selection of the best lees from pinot noir and chardonnay, harvested exclusively from friend vineyards in Burgundy. Distilled in Meursault, the distillates are then blended to create the Joséfine cuvée. It is also the methodical selection of oak barrels that will age it for several years in the Meursault cellar. Joséfine spent 3 years and 8 months in an intensely heated oak barrel. On the nose, the woody aspect quickly fades to reveal smoky notes. On the palate, there are indulgent notes of vanilla, crème brûlée, and hazelnut. The overall taste is direct, honest, and elegant. The powerful finish does not dry out.
