This magnum of Aloxe-Corton 2022 from Domaine Dubuet Boillot is certainly the most powerful and refined wine in Maxime Dubuet's range, a dynamic and talented young winemaker who recently took over the family vineyards in Volnay. From three plots located at the foot of the Corton hill, he delivers a charming wine with persistent length, with smooth notes of red fruits (cherry, plum) and black fruits (blackberry and blackcurrant). All framed by a woody character that provides structure and roasted notes. An Aloxe-Corton that can be aged for several years to evolve into tertiary notes of undergrowth and mushrooms, or enjoyed now after decanting for 30 minutes.
