The Humbert estate is located in the beautiful village of Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits. It is a family-owned estate managed by two brothers, Frédéric and Emmanuel, since 1989. They cultivate seven hectares in village appellations, premier crus, and a grand cru (Charmes-Chambertin). They produce pure, powerful, opulent wines resulting from a long extraction process. One must be patient and allow a few years of aging for the wines to fully reveal themselves.

The 2021 vintage of this wine gains in freshness and elegance, further accentuating the exceptional qualities of the estate's wines.

This Magnum of Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes from the Humbert Frères estate is a blend of the best parcels of Gevrey, from the lower areas of Estournelles and Aux Etelois (close to the grand cru Griotte-Chambertin). It is a wine of great power, rich, concentrated, with velvety tannins. Its youthful woody notes will soften over the years to reveal a remarkable complexity.
