This magnum of Gevrey Chambertin 1er cru Cazetiers 2021 from the Henri Magnien estate comes from one of the most qualitative parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin. The terroir, adjacent to the fabulous Clos Saint-Jacques, is on a steep slope facing east with a clay-limestone soil that expresses itself wonderfully in a hot vintage. Charles Magnien, grandson of Henri, has been at the helm of the estate since 2009 and has significantly improved the estate's wines.

This Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru Cazetiers 2021 from Domaine Henri Magnien reveals notes of raspberries, plums, spices, and undergrowth. The palate, with an outstanding pedigree, unfolds over several dimensions of flavors and textures, culminating in a long and vibrant finish. A great wine worthy of its status!
