Magnum Banyuls Therese Reig - Domaine De La Rectorie
This magnum of Banyuls Therese Reig 2006 from Domaine de La Rectorie is a fortified wine, made from a blend of old vines of Grenache Noir (90%) and Carignan (10%). The early bottling (20 days of maceration and 8 months in tanks) preserves the power and freshness of the wine, promising a long bottle aging potential.
This Therese Reig 2006 vintage still has a great future, with hints of Grenache notes, intense red fruits (blackberry and blackcurrant), bitter cherry, chocolate, and vanilla. The balance between alcohol and acidity is perfect, making it an excellent pairing for a chocolate dessert.
