This magnum of Arbois Pinot Noir Sous la Tour 2020 from the Tissot estate is a superb cuvée highlighting the Jurassian Pinot Noir, which is often underestimated. A high-end cuvée from a mythical place overlooking Arbois at the top of an impressive hill: the Tour de Curon. This plot under the tower is located just below the Tower, on limestone soils. This Pinot is vinified with whole bunches, natural yeasts, and aged for a year in oak vats. A top-class Arbois, perfectly balanced and smooth with fruits, all while maintaining a nice touch of tannins and a mineral finish, almost chalky, concluding with great freshness.
